Lime Pie

Are you ready for one more recipe?

Here we go...

Ingredients dough:

100g margarine out of the fridge

½ cup sugar

2 yolk of eggs

1 cup white flour

1 tsp baking powder

Lime zest


Start mixing the margarine with the sugar and the yolk until you get a white cream. Slowly include the flour, the baking powder and the lime zest. Next, start pressing with your hand until you can make a ball that does not keep sticking in your fingers. 

Grab a round tray, grease with oil and flour and start including the dough in every part of the tray.

Put the tray in the oven with pre heated oven at 370F and bake the dough for 20 min.


Ingredients filling:

2 condensed milk cans

8 tbsp lime juice

Lime zest


Filling is the easier part; you just have to mix all the ingredients in a pan with low heat on. Just for around 5 minutes so the filling can get firmer. 


Ingredients filling2:

3 tbsp sugar

2 white of egg


Lastly, we just mix the ingredients in a stand mixer until we make whipped egg whites. After it is firm enough, just put on the top of the pie.


Ok, all the parts of your pie are ready, you just have to put it all together.


Get the tray with the dough, include the first filling and after the second filling is firm enough, just put on the top of the pie.


Put the pie again in the oven just for 5 more minutes and your pie will be beautiful as the picture.


We recommend that you leave it for 2 hours in the fridge before serving!
