Fruit Cake

This is our first post and we want to show you a cool and simple cake recipe.
These are just a few ingredients that will delight both you and your guests.

Let's do this!

Ingredients:

• 4 eggs
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 vanilla sugar
• 1.5 cups of flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 125 grams of butter
• favourite fruit

    Let's start by melting the butter in a small pot. It has to cool down before adding it to our dough. Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites with a mixer, after whipping, gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar. Gradually add egg yolks to our bowl with egg whites, constantly whisking.

At this time, turn on the oven at 355 F / 180 C. With the mixer at a slower speed, add flour and baking powder. Finally, add the cooled butter and slowly stir until smooth.

    Now we can add our favourite fruit. We usually add peeled and diced apples but this time we added plums. we mix everything in a spoon and the dough is ready. We take a round cake tin and line it with baking paper. We pour the dough, smooth it from the top and put it in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes. When the cake is ready and cold we put icing sugar on the top.
